Plan A evolved during the Covid19 outbreak, at a time when the UK high street was changing significantly. Trusted brands like Debenhams, Mothercare, and Toys R Us had sadly disappeared from the high street and there was a new opportunity for great new products at good prices.
Our product journey so far has included feeding sets, on-the-go food storage, highchairs, booster seats, preschool toys and furniture.
Our purpose
We formed Plan A with the goal of providing brands and retailers alike with fantastic products at fair and reasonable prices. With over 20 years of experience working in the nursery industry, founder Scott Blease started speaking to brands and retailers about on-trend and sustainable consumer products, and within a year, Plan A brought several clients on board.

Scott Blease
Founder & Director

Scott leads the Plan A business day-to-day and primarily focuses on delivering client projects, leading project workflows across design, sourcing and finance functions. Scott has worked in the commercial world for over 25 years, starting his career at Coca-Cola before moving to the baby goods industry. Scott has worked for brands including Chicco, Beaba and most recently Silver Cross, where he was a member of the board and CEO of their outdoor brand Micralite.
Adam Zhu
Head of Programming

Adam boasts over 10 years of experience of NPI program management with both juvenile products producers and EMS tier 1/2 vendors.
With deep understanding of various manufacturing processes, Adam enjoys getting to see the product development from start to finish from his view as project manager and excels in balancing timings, costings, feasibility and quality.
William Lockwood
Finance Director

Will is an experienced Chartered Accountant and manages all things finance for Plan A. After qualifying, Will spent two years working at Oxford University followed by a spell in the finance world. Will then worked for 28 years as Finance Director at a family-run toy company until he moved in 2007 to Silver Cross, the UK’s leading pram and stroller manufacturer. Will left Silver Cross to join Plan A in 2020.

Peiling heads up Plan A’s sourcing and quality control function to ensure the efficient delivery of projects. She has over 30 years of experience in sourcing materials and factory management, with a focus on successful developments and quality control. Peiling has worked across a number of categories and with many of the world’s leading brands.
